PRACTICE DESCRIPTION

Dr. Owen is a specialist in treating traditional E.N.T. problems in adults and children. In addition, he has received post graduate training in microscopic ear surgery, ear, nose and throat laser therapy, and palate surgery for sleep apnea and snoring.

Dr. Owen has extensive training and experience in endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of nasal and sinus problems. 14% of the population, or approximately 40,000 people in the South Bay suffer from chronic sinus disease. These patients may present with headache, nasal congestion, post nasal discharge, ear block, loss of smell and "taste", chronic sore throat, cough, and rarely, severe eye and central nervous system symptoms. Contemporary endoscopic diagnosis and treatment has resulted in a 90% or better cure rate in chronic sinus disease, a wonderful achievement in modern medicine.

Dr. Owen will utilize his experience and expertise to help solve your ear, nose and throat problems.

The new "Somnus" radiofrequency treatment for snoring, nasal obstructions and sleep apnea is now available in Dr. Owen's office. This high tech procedure is now well proven as a valuable technique which produces excellent results and avoids uncomfortable surgery.
