Our Services This office is a "NO HMO OFFICE", meaning that Dr. LaGrelius does not participate in any capitated managed care medical programs. Cash patients are welcome and are given discounts for payment at time of service. Fees are negotiable if need exists. Medicare is accepted with some qualifications. When Medicare Medical Savings Accounts become available, as they soon should be, patients are encouraged to enroll in them. Some PPOs are accepted, but Dr. LaGrelius resigns promptly from any PPO that seeks to manage care or does not adequately cover the real cost of care. Dr. LaGrelius encourages HMO patients with "point of service" options to seek care here and will assist them with their insurance problems. The staff will help patients get the most out of such restrictive insurance plans, but the patient remains responsible for costs not covered by insurance. Because of these financial policies, Dr. LaGrelius is able to see fewer patients, spend more time, and provide each patient with detailed care.
